On August 30, an Indonesian delegation consisting of Parliament Members from multiple parties, accompanied by relevant leaders from the International Department of the Central Committee of CPC, visited Fujian Normal University. Prof. Lai Hairong, Vice president of FNU, met the guests. Also present at the meeting were heads of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the College of Social History and the Indonesian Studies Center (ISC).
Prof. Wang Aiping and Prof. Lu Jinhuan from the ISC gave a presentation titled “The Stories about Zhenhe’s Expeditionary Voyages and Indonesia” for the delegation. The delegation made a tour of the Qishan campus and the ISC. They also had an academic discussion with relevant researchers in the ISC on the historical origins and development of the relations between China and Indonesia.
