The 2nd International Top Forum on Overseas China Studies Kicks off in FNU

The opening ceremony of the forum opened at the Hongda Hall of FNU on the morning of December 11th, jointly sponsored by China Center for Overseas Social and Philosophical Theories, Central Compilation & Translation Bureau and College of Marxism, FNUAt the opening ceremony, chaired by Pan Yuteng, deputy secretary of FNU Party Committee, Ji Zhengju, deputy director of Central Compilation & Translation Bureau, and Lin Heping, secretary of FNU Party Committee, delivered a speech respectively.


Over 30 experts and scholars attended the 2-day forum, including experts and scholars from  various countries like the USA, Sweden, Finland, Greenland, Japan, South Korea, administrators related and experts of Central Compilation & Translation Bureau. The participants also included experts and scholars from Chinese institutions of higher education such as Party School of the Central Committee of CPC, Peking University, Central University of Finance and Economics, Xiamen University, Fujian Normal University, like Lai Hairong, vice president of FNU.They conducted in-depth discussions about the theme The Development after 19th CPC National Congress in China”.There were 3 sections held at the forum, with the themes of The Significance of19th CPC National Congress, Chinas External Relations after19th CPC National Congress and Chinas Political and Economic Prospects after 19th CPC National Congress respectively. Each section had four sessions: keynote speeches, experts’ comments, questions and answers, and discussions.The forum plays a positive role in thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, promoting the spread of the latest theories of CPC worldwide, deepening the academic exchanges between scholars at home and abroad and fostering overseas China Studies.
