On December 15, the 12th “Talk Among the President of FNU and the College Students” was held in Activity Center for Faculty on Cangshan campus. FNU President Wang Changping, heads of departments concerned and 90 students gathered and talked on how to improve the quality of campus life in FNU. This talk was hosted by Shi Qizhen, the Executive Chairman of the FNU Students’ Federation.
At the beginning of the talk, Wang Changping briefly introduced the implementation of proposals presented in the 11th Talk and the proposals collected prior to the 12th Talk. FNU President Wang Changping and person in charge of functional departments earnestly answered the questions raised by the students, such as traffic safety, sanitation, sports facilities upgrading and water supply for dormitory during the Q&A part. Wang Changping highly appreciated the enthusiasm and initiative of students when they engaged in democratic management of school affairs and expressed his gratitude to them for their suggestions. Wang Changping urged functional departments to provide better services to students and promote the cultivation of talents by giving top priority to student affairs and respecting their identities. He also suggested relevant departments make efforts to meet the demands of students and enhance their sense of gain and happiness.
Wang Changping posed for photos with all students to mark the occasion and received a hand-made lacquered pen by the FNU Student Federation at the end of the talk.
For students who failed to ask questions during the talk, the FNU Student Federation would collect and sort their proposals and feedback the proposals to the functional departments or offices concerned.
