From April 14 to 16, the 8th Tin Ka Ping Cup National Normal Universities Teaching Skills Competition for Pedagogical Students successfully came to the end at Zhejiang Normal University. After intense competition, 9 participants from FNU performed excellently, winning 4 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 2 third prizes, breaking the record since FNU participated in the competition.
It is learned that the National Normal Universities Teaching Skills Competition for Pedagogical Students has been held for 8 times, which is the most widely participated, influential, and professional competition in this field. There were 998 participants from 167 normal universities nationwide, but only 296 participants from 107 normal universities were shortlisted for the final. The final round involved nine majors, namely Chinese Language and Literature, English, Ideological and Political Education, History, Mathematics and Applied mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biological Science and Geographical Science. The final round included sessions like teaching design, multimedia courseware production, impromptu lectures, simulated classes, and blackboard writing.
