On the morning of March 23rd, the College of Geographical Sciences and Colorado State University jointly held a presentation on their joint training program in the lecture hall of Building 16 for Scientific Research and Experiments. The event was attended by Professor Gao Wei, former vice president and director of the China Program at Colorado State University; Nobel Peace Prize laureate Steve Ogle; Professor Richard Conant and other relevant representatives from the university; Professor Chen Jingming, academician of the Royal Society of Canada and a faculty member at the College of Geographical Sciences; Mr. Wang Shaoxiang, director of International Cooperation and Exchange; Lin Cuirong, secretary of the Party Committee of the college; as well as representatives of faculty and students from various departments.

During the presentation, Academician Chen Jingming first introduced the basic situation of Colorado State University, highlighting its strengths in disciplines such as carbon management, climate change, and sustainable development. Subsequently, representatives from Colorado State University welcomed the active participation of faculty and students from the college and gave an introduction to the university's professional master's programs in Carbon Management Science, Water Resources Science, Sustainable Food Systems, Climate Adaptation, and Risks. They also expressed their desire to collaborate with the college in areas such as discipline development and talent cultivation. In the interactive session that followed, faculty representatives from Colorado State University provided detailed answers to questions raised by the audience.
