The China Scholarship Council (CSC) recently announced the list of the 2021 funded International Cooperative Training Programs for Innovative Talents, and the program “Resource Recycling and Ecological Restoration International Cooperative Training Program for Innovative Talents”, led by Prof. Chen Qinghua, vice president of FNU, is among the list, and is the second approved program of FNU.
Based on the National Key R&D Program “Integrated Demonstration of Solid Waste Comprehensive Utilization in the Characteristic Industry Cluster of Light Industry in Southeast China”, the program meets the talent needs of national ecological advancement strategy, and aims to cultivate innovative talents in solid waste recycling and ecological restoration related industries. The implementation period of the program is 3 years. From 2021, FNU can send 6 young visiting scholars and 18 doctoral students to study in overseas partner universities. The total funding is expected to be nearly 5 million yuan.
