On October 15, ShanghaiRanking released the 2025 edition of its “Best Chinese Disciplines” ranking, in which 27 disciplines from our university were recognized—an increase of five compared to the previous year.
In terms of total ranked disciplines, our university now stands:
60th nationwide
6th among non-Double First-Class universities
9th among normal universities in China
2nd among universities in Fujian Province
1st among provincial universities in Fujian
The ranking evaluates 98 first-level disciplines and five professional degree categories, and includes only the top 50% of institutions in each field that hold graduate degree-granting authority. This year, a total of 5,344 discipline programs from 517 universities were listed.
