Professor Huang Hansheng Wins the First Prize of the Sixth National Education Sciences Research Outstanding Achievement Award

Recently, the Sixth National Education Sciences Research Outstanding Achievement Award presentation and China Education Sciences Forum 2021 were held in Beijing. The paper, entitled “Study on the Talents Cultivation of Undergraduate Sport Majors in China: Development and Interpretation about National Standards for Teaching Quality of Undergraduate Sport Majors in Colleges and Universities”, by Professor Huang Hansheng of FNU won the first prize of the Sixth National Education Sciences Research Outstanding Achievement Award (the only winner of the first prize in sport science).

It is reported that Professor Huang Hansheng's research results, which have systematically and comprehensively addressed major theoretical and practical concerns in the education reform and construction of China's undergraduate sport majors in the new era, have been adopted by the Ministry of Education, and were promulgated in 2018 and applied among undergraduate sport majors in colleges and universities all over the country.

The National Education Sciences Research Outstanding Achievement Award, established in 1990 and selected every five years, aims to continuously improve the research ability and academic level of education sciences, enhance the ability to serve our society and promote the scientific development of education. A total of 344 award-winning achievements were selected for the Sixth National Education Sciences Research Outstanding Achievement Award, including 26 first prizes, 119 second prizes and 199 third prizes.
